Austin Politelli starting off the season with a freshly healed leg had to really work for his third spot on the podium. He definitely has his work cut out for him this season if he is going to repeat is number 1 plate from 2013.

Jesse Wentland had a great first moto leading the first two laps of the race but had a tougher second moto leaving him with a 4th overall.

Now what do you think Todd Schumlick from PerformX is saying to Shawn right now…. Maybeee….. Shawn, Honey needs a new collar. Should I go with the pink one or the black studded one? Honestly Shawn was so chill going into the first race of the season. He has done all the work in the off season and is now ready to have fun and reap the benefits of his hard work.

Matthew Davenport had a great start with Moto1. The first round was looking good for Matt until his clutch flew apart in moto two.

Teddy Maier taking a moment in the air to survey the track during morning practice to put together his assault plan.

Mike Alessi had a tough first moto having a little incident in the first lap but came all the way from 19th back to third. Second moto was better for Mike and not as good for someone else. Yes…. Mr Alessi has brought some life to the Rockstar Energy Drink National Series as expected.

BC native Colton Facciotti had a great first moto! He won it with a 13 second lead. Second moto… a different story. Alessi shut the door on him in a turn early in the race and Colton went down which left him with some time to make up.
